Azalea Trail 2014
March 7 - 9, 2014; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beautiful pale St. Joe brick and Leuders Limestone friezes surrounding arched windows and doors are
the perfect welcome to this Italianate style home. Designed in 1984 by architect Preston Bolton and
designer Sylvia Longoria Dorsey, the original interiors have been updated by the current owner with
classic selections of European marbles and finishes. The original landscape design was by Herbert
Pickworth and highlights the backyard view of the Houston Country Club golf course. The interiors
are appointed with an exceptional mix of 18th century French and Italian antiques and 1940s modern
accents. Traditional, as well as modern art, complete the décor of this house and the result is a balance
of classic taste with a modern touch.
